Jellyfin 10.7.0

With a core changes in the Jellyfin nightly for live TV a few days ago  LiveTV from NextPVR started working.

I also identified some issues with their series handling and have found that if you disable "Play next episode automatically" and "Show next video info during playback" recordings  

For those interested in testing the nightly you might be OK to let me know if there are any other problems with the addon itself. 

Jellyfin developers don't consider any issues with NextPVR  blocking for release and won't look at it because NextPVR backend is not open source, so it is up to you guys to help test.

Edit: Good news though a developer crobibero took the time install NextPVR and find out what was broken with recordings and he create a server patch so if the PR gets approved things look much brighter.

I have the latest unstable Jellyfin 10.7 on my linux box running but I can't get the NextPVR plugin to show any settings. I get an Alert that says "this plugin has no settings to configure" so all I have the option to do is uninstall it. Tried the latest zip from this forum and also tried installing the NextPVR 5.0.0.0 plugin from their repo with the same results.

I haven't tested on linux but this is the addon I use now.  Earlier versions I posted wouldn't work and I haven't used the one Jellyfin builds.

Ok thanks Martin. I tried this one with Linux but still got the same message. I try it on Windows and see if that works.

I can confirm the issue on Windows and linux. Nice way to start RC2.

Just curious, what version was working for you?

Could you try loading RC2 and if there a is file with the addon called meta.json delete that. Post the contents of the file here first though.

I downloaded and installed the deb file for RC2 after removing 10.6.4 and found the meta.json file. Here is the contents. When I went to localhost:8096 I just got a black screen. Tried the cntl F5 but it did not change.

Did you delete it and restart the server? I eventually got it to work on linux and Windows.

I got to the NextPVR plugin settings but the spinning circle never stopped and couldn't save the settings. Then it went back to "this plugin has no settings mode.

Also, every time I restart Jellyfin the meta.json file returns.

I'll mess with it some more.

BTW I could only find JF 10.6.4 and the nightly builds for Windows. Couldn't find RC2 for Windows.
