Exactly the same - image and audio for a few seconds and then a crash

I would try Matrix (portable install) and Leia 32 bit. I don't see it as an addon issue.
Also you still have this warning 2021-01-20 22:27:55.288 T:3920 WARNING: CWinRenderer::UpdateVideoFilter: chosen scaling method 1 is not supported by renderer and you aren't using software rendering. Martin

In Kodi I went to System / Settings/ Player / Videos and under Processing, set that to Software. Is that where you meant?
Or do I need to change something else?

The logs shows it using DXVA
2021-01-20 22:27:41.703 T:2540 DEBUG: DXVA: open decoder. Martin

So it seems I've found the culprit.
Just below the setting above is "Allow hardware acceleration DXVA2" which was selected. Unticked that and it is fine... including setting render method back to auto. That isn't anything I'd ever selected before.. so not sure if doing the latest kodi update selected it.. but seems to be resolved. Thanks for your help with this... bit of a weird one! |
