Kodi and NextPVR question

Hello all,
I have a HTPC running Windows 8.1. I would like to watch live TV and possibly record some of it within Kodi. Can I just install an USB DVB-C TV-tuner in the machine, and install NextPVR (or maybe some alternative?) on it, as well as the addon in Kodi, and be able to watch my channels live, and maybe record some of it?appvalley tutuapp tweakbox

Sort of. Your account says you are from the US so you wouldn't use a DVB-C tuner. What is the source you want to record?
