Add UI Menu

Is there a way to add a video folder to the UI by editing config.xml?

I was able to add a menu item by editing config.xml and have it display on the UI but I can't figure out how to get it to point to a directory. Currently I have the menu item "Videos" defined in config.xml. I would like to add one called "TV Movies" and have it point to a directory with some video files.

I'm not clear on what you mean. You can't add any items to the main menu in config.xml, those are plugins, but you can add multiple directories to Video, Music and Picture libraries.

On Windows those are added by NextPVR.exe, on other platforms you have to add new lines manually, default can be modified or removed. So under <VideoLibrary> add

<Directory name="TV Movies">/home/videos/tvmovies</Directory>
