Unable to schedule recordings from Kodi

I've been testing NextPVR for about a week now and it's been working fine through Kodi until yesterday when I saw on the Web UI that there was a new version of NextPVR. I updated to this version 5.1.3.210711 and now I'm unable to schedule recordings from guide or from timer on Kodi. An error message shows saying "Could not start recording. Check the log for more information about this message." From the Web UI everything works fine and on KNEWC. 

I've tried clearing out EPG on Kodi and uninstalling and re-installing the addon to no effect.
The issue happens both on a Kodi Windows client and on an Android TV Kodi client.

This is a known bug in the release and sub is away and not able to to create an update. In the meantime there is a patch to NextPVR available here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid558247

It looks like the patch is for Windows, do you know if it will work with Linux, or if one is coming soon?

Yes it will, hopefully sub will have a new version soon.

The patch will also work on Linux.

I have the same problem, but I use the Docker Image (nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64).

When can you please update that?

You can update Docker with that file too if you can run bash shell. Copy it to your config folder and then

docker exec -it nextpvr /bin/bash

cp /config/Nshared.dll /app
