Just a quick question.

I have changed the channel configuration using the Web app, and added some channels, and removed others.
All my clients show correct channel lineup and guide listings.

But, the native Windows client Nextpvr.exe shows two channel '13' .
One is a channel I deleted, and replaced with another 'TVNZ Duke'.

One channel 13 in Nextpvr.exe lists 'no show details', and when selected goes to a different channel.

If I look in the channels in the web app, it is correct  and only shows one channel 13 'TVNZ Duke'
The Breeze shows as 14 in the web app.

How to I force Nextpve.exe to update it's channel and guide configuration?

Update:

All of my clients running Kodi Matrix have correct channels and guide.

AppleTV4k running MrMC has same issue as Nextpvr.exe, but guide and channels list as correct, but change to wrong channel on channel 13.

AppleTV4k running the TVOS NextPVR client works great, and like Kodi, all channels are correct.

Sorry,  forgot the logs.

I ran the web app, and played channel 13 (TVNZ Duke) (DVB-T)  and 14 (The Breeze) (DVB-T)
(both played the correct channels)

I then exited and ran NextPVR.exe.
I played channel 13 which lists as 'no show details', and it changes my STB to MTV 80's
Channel 14 plays correctly to The Breeze (DVB-T channel)

If I had to guess, I'd say you mapped have a station on the HDPVR on STB channel 123 that NextPVR is using instead of the DVB device.

If you can PM me a download link to your npvr.db3, I'll check and let you know the reason.

Yes, I added channel MTV 80's to number 123.  (which is it's channel number on Sky)

I originally setup my channels on NextPVR v4, which let me map the channels to match the Sky numbering for IR blasting.
When NextPVR v5 came out, I followed a guide and upgraded.

With NextPVR v5, it imports the channels from the xmltv source, which does not match the channel numbering for Sky IR blasting.
ie.  It can map the correct channel number, but it associates the wrong number for IR blasting, and I can not seem to change that like in v4.

eg. I have 'Sky TV1' mapped as channel 1.1, and it IR Blasts 1,   but under v5, it uses the ID from my xmltv file which is 1200, and tries to blast 1200.
(v5 lets me enter 1.1 as channel number, but will only blast 1200 from the xmltv file)
(if I edit the xmltv file, and change the ID from 1200 to 1, then add the channel in v5, it blasts correctly.)

Was just wondering why the Web app, and Kodi Matrix clients, and the TVOS NextPVR app  accept the channel changes, but the NextPVR.exe and MrMC clients do not.

Thankyou for your reply, your guess was spot on.

Guess I was asking if there is some way to reset Nextpvr.exe without stuffing up everything else?

Blasting need a exact tuner source number, so XMLTV or SD JSON makes sense as they are supposed to be exact.

MrMC uses the same XML as Matrix I suspect you just need to refresh the EPG data in settings.

I just used the web app, and checked my channel mappings.
Some had changed to a different XMLTV source (one I had configured for Freeview IPTV)

Think at some point, I might have tried 'automap'

I changed the few affected back to my primary XMLTV source.

What seems to have occurred, is that Nextpvr.exe now has a phantom unnamed channel, with the number 13, and says 'no show detail' instead of guide data.
All the channels that are supposed to be there are present, including the MTV 80's channel on 123.

So, I just seem to have this 2nd number 13 unnamed channel, that is not present in my channel list on the Web App.

Presumably my database file is corrupted.

If you can supply your npvr.db3, I'll tell you exactly what is wrong with it. If nextpvr.exe is showing the channel, I'm sure it's there.

Update:  Think I managed to resolve the issue.

I had an SQlite3 database editor,  so I imported the nextpvr database file in. (after backing up the original)

Under Channels, it had one entry for channel 13, with no other data.
So, I deleted that database entry.
Could not really see any other data pertaining to that particular channel.

I replaced the original db3 file in NextPVR data directory.
I then ran the web app, and all the channels looked good, with only one channel 13 as before.
Ran Nextpvr.exe,  and unlike before where I had two channel 13's,  it now has only one, and the phantom one is gone.

Will try the other clients, but getting Nextpvr.exe working right was a decent start. (grin)
