Show title with exclamation and Plex file name

I hope I’m posting this in the right place.

I’m using NextPVR 5.2.0.210912 with “Use file names with Plex date format” enabled.

It works most of the time and Plex can see the recorded .ts files in the library, except I had one program with an exclamation mark “!” in the title. In this case, Plex was unable to recognize the recording.

Edit: adding that Plex’s own DVR records this program without the exclamation mark in the file name.

Did it put a different character in it's place, or just removed it entirely?

Hmm, I did another test, and I’m no longer sure of my claim. I’m confused now.

I've never used Plex, so don't really know anything about what it expects.

If you find something more about what's going on, let me know and I can tweak how NextPVR is naming it's file.
