Hi,
I've been using nextpvr for less than a year, had no problem with it.   Now one of the channel changed its signal so didn't show up.  Not knowing how to fix this (I know now there would have been a simple fix for this) but like a bull in a china shop, I messed things up so badly I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling.  I got things back pretty much, except for this little problem.  Every time I try to play a recording through nextpvr, I get an exception message.  Live tv is okay, and using vlc to play the recording outside of nextpvr is fine.  So not a recording problem, only a playback.  Once the exception dialog is up, it won't go away.  Have the use task manager to exit the app.
My computer:Windows 10
Processor Intel® Core™ i3-3225 CPU @ 3.30GHz  3.30 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
Product ID 00326-10000-00000-AA941
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

the "nextpvr exception.txt" included here is from the exception dialog.

You'd need to zip it for attaching.

I'd also suggest attaching the log files.

The logs didn't make it, hit the enter prematurely.  I should have figured the text needed zipping too.  So here they are.

Is a file getting created in your live tv buffer directory when you try to watch live tv?

There are files in the public/videos folder. One is the live tv .ts file. It also has the recorded files in there also. Is that what you need to know?

Yes, there is, and when I launch that file as well as all the others in the folder via VLC, they all load and view just fine.

I take it from the lack of helpful response that this is something new and I'm the only one seeing this problem. Is someone working on this? I would think unhandled exception would be something that needs looking into even if this currently is the only one manifest. Would anyone be interested in doing some remote debugging? This problem is very reproduceable on this machine. If I get no response, I guess I'll have to start from scratch again, though that only has a slim chance at changing the situation. Any help I can get will be much appreciated.

I have made some changes in that area of the code that should stop the unhandled exception, but I'm not really sure why you're seeing it.

It'll probably worth checking the new release this weekend to see if it helps. If it doesn't, I can take a close look.

Okay. I've been making do by using nextpvr to record but not play. I have to navigate outside the app to watch the programs recorded. Looking forward to new build. Thanks for looking into this.
