iptv not working on nextpvr

Until two days ago, my m3u and xmltv were working perfectly on NextPVR, but since then, they don't work any more, on Windows 10 or Ubuntu. On one of my laptops, I can't get into NextPVR at all, getting the message "127.0.0.1 refused to connect. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". On the other laptop, I can get into NextPVR, but when I tried to update the EPG, I got an Error -something about "object not satisfied" or some such. I followed all the help-screen suggestions -I checked the firewall (no problem), I checked if my playlist was  still working elsewhere (it was), I cleared the browser cache, and I uninstalled and reinstalled NextPVR, and changed my password. Now, when I try to re-enter my m3u & xmltv, the screen hangs forever on Downloading m3u, and if I use the XC, it hangs on Logging in. Can anyone guess what might have gone wrong?

This sounds like the recording service isn't running on that machine. Try rebooting.

Reproduce the problem, then post the logs and we'll take a look.

I can't replicate the original EPG Error, as I erased my m3u and xmltv, and tried reinstalling them, but the screen just hangs on "Downloading m3u" or "Logging In". I enclose today's log, in which I tried reinstalling by both M3 u and XC, most recently at around 14.04. Whatever the error is, it is certainly repeating over & over again!

Connecting to the m3u is timing out, are you positive that you are entering it correctly? If you are using a VPN that could also be an issue. If so you will need to PM the URL for the m3u and xmltv to sub so he can investigate further.

Yep, the m3u8 url you've entered is incorrect. If you try that url in a browser, it'll also return an error.

I am baffled by this, as the m3u I have entered does not contain any typos, and is still working on VLC and IPTV Smarters, and was working on NextPVR until a couple of days ago. I have tried it both with and without the VPN, and I still can't download the m3u. What can have caused this?

That is why you need to provide it to sub so he can check. It could be a question of how many redirects or intermediate http tricks your providers is using.

I have the ability to read the encrypted m3u8 from your logs. The last one you entered was definitely not valid - I checked the url here in a browser.

Just to confuse things further, I have just gone into my spare Lenovo PC on Windows 10, and I can still get into NextPVR there, on that same "faulty" m3u! Unfortunately, I can't get into any of the channels, which all throw up "Stream exited -Transcoder failed". I enclose log for this. (Could the fact that this PC is painfully slow on Windows 10 have anything to do with it?) How this m3u can work on one PC and be faulty on another, beats me!

The issue yesterday was the scan of the m3u, so without doing that there is is no way to tell if the URL to the m3u is still working on your spare PC. The fact that URL's from that original scan don't work seems to indicate something is wrong at the provider end.
