There seems to be a new issue with zoom using NextPVR.exe or Nlite (client.zip) where the display does not completely fill to the top of the TV screen on one of my SD channels. NextPVR.exe OSD says the zoom mode is "Remove Letterbox" which is the closest I can get to full screen video.  I tried Nlite connecting to my Linux server and NextPVR.exe on my Windows 10 server locally, and the zoom behavior is the same.

With the uidroid client, I can get zoom to fill the entire TV screen correctly.

Here is a link to a recording of the SD channel I was using. It's 158 MB.  https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArMMuDTvT3Aij3NCy0xE...A?e=ndmr1y

Thankfully content like this is becoming relatively uncommon these days.

Basically it's a 4:3 video, with black bars above/below the widescreen content in the middle. Normally that content in the middle would be 16:9, but this appears to be slightly off in this video. I'm guessing due to something weird the cable company is doing. ie, 'remove letterbox' is showing you the 16:9 center from the 4:3 frame, but unfortunately in this case, that bit also includes some black.

If it's filling the screen on the uidroid, I'm guessing that's because there is some overscan. (ie, black bars are there, but you can't see them because they're slightly off the edge of the screen)

The 4:3 video file is 704x480.

The height of the letterboxed 16:9 portion in the middle should be 704/16*9=396. ie, bit of the video you're wanting to see should be 704x396

In this video, the height of that content appears to be 352 pixels...so when you're viewing the 704x396 center bit of the video, you're still seeing some black at the top/bottom of the 704x352

It's likely they've stretched the source content it slightly out of shape doing this.
