I've got Next PVR working pretty good so far and just have a few items to figure out.

I'm running NextPVR on a Windows 10 PC and have 2 HDHomerun devices on my Network.
I have an HDHomerun Prime with a cable card and recently added an HDHomerun Flex 4k.

I don't understand why I'm seeing duplicate channels listed under "Channels" and "TVGuide".
Under the "Channels" tab, I can select either "All Channels" or "HDHomerun Channels".
Selecting ""HDHomerun Channels" shows only the OTA channels HD (without duplicates) and selecting "All Channels" shows both OTA and Cable channels (but has duplicates of the OTA channels). I'm confused because both are HDHomerun devices and only the Flex 4k channels show up when "HDHomerun Channels" is selected.

How can I get the "Channels" and "TVGuide" to list the all the channels available without duplicating anything?

When you setup one of your HDHomeRun devices, and then you click on your second one, you should have got a message asking 'would you like to copy the channel configuration from an existing device?'. You should accept this, then you end up with one set of channels coming from either device. If you decline that, then you've scanned each device independently and created two sets of channels.

You can to the Devices screen, click on each of the device and delete the channels, on all but one tuner, then when you click on the other empty tuners you'll be offered that same question.

Thanks. I'll try that.
Any Idea why I might be seeing an IPTV device on the list of devices?

Everyone has an IPTV device. It's just listed there in case you need to add IPTV channels.

Just to clarify what sub said about copying from one HDHomeRun device to another...

The technology (and tuning) for an HDHR with a cable card is different from the technology (and tuning) for the HDHR Flex OTA. For each of those device types, you should configure the channels on the first tuner in that physical device and then copy that configuration to the each of the other tuners in that physical device.

I deleted all the channels on the Flex 4k tuners (each had 23).
I left the channels for the 3 Prime Tuners (each listed 68)

I selected the 1st Flex 4K HDHR Tuner. IT asks if I want to copy the existing channel setup. When I say yes, it copies the Prime tuner channels.
I'll try again by scanning the 1st Flex 4K HDHR tuner then copying that to the remaining 3.

With multiple tuner types you do need to manually merge them.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Mixed HDHR tuner types can be a problem for this logic.

Thanks. That seemed to work. No more duplicates.

Last question on this topic.
On the "TVGuide" selecting the drop-down "All Channels" displays both the HDHR Prime and Flex 4K OTA Channels but when I select "HDHomerun Channels", only the Flex 4K OTA channels are listed. They are both HDHomerun devices. If "HDHomerun" only refers to the Flex 4k, then why isn't there a dropdown specifically for the HDHR Prime (so only its channels get listed). It makes sense that "all channels" list the channels from all devices but where's the stand-alone list for just the HDHR Prome?

Not an important question. Just curious.

From memory there should be a "HDHomeRun Channels", and it should contain all HDHR channels, from both types of your device.

I can't see any code that creates a "HDHR Prime" group. In general it's not intending to create channel groups for the different types of HDHR devices you have, so I wouldn't expect to see a group for this.
