I followed the install and setup guidance available on this Forum for installing comskip and carried out a live recording. Checked the logs after finding no success and am posting the log file here for help

I have since checked comskip by running it manually on the recorded file and it did not throw the error and seemed to create an ad free ts file, I will replicate this check to confirm it is consistent. Is this perhaps a parallel processing issue?

I don't typically support the script files because I expect users to read document on support tools that aren't NextPVR related. There is a comskip.ini setting needed for growing files.

For comskip client support are you using a client that supports edl files. Examples include NextPVR.exe, Kodi and UI clients.

ok Martin so it’s a client issue, I have been reading furiously in an attempt to sort it myself but was under some misapprehensions. Sure enough using Kodi showed success. Naively imagined ex the AppleTV NextPVR app would provide that functionality.thanks for taking the time to point me in the right direction

Nope, the AppleTV doesn't know anything about comskip. (I don't personally use com skip, so never give it too much thought)
