Use local m3u file

Hello, sorry if this is a pretty simple question - I've never really used this before. I'm wondering how to use a local m3u file in my downloads in NextPVR, I've asked a few freinds who showed me the software but I've still not been able to work it out, thanks.

An m3u file would be the source for an IPTV tuner https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/setup-iptv It would be best to not load only the stations you will actually watch. Also many public m3u sources don't work or won't work for long but YMMV.

I cant do that because I don't have a .m3u link, only a file on my PC.

It will also accept the filename if you type it in.

Can't get it to work, if I've got a file called Playlist_4.m3u8 in my Downloads folder what should I put?

The NextPVR service runs as the "localsystem" account, which might not have access to your downloads folder. Try storing it in c:\temp, and then just set the m3u url to something like c:\temp\test.m3u when importing.
