I tried the latest build ( v5.2.7.2204106) under Debian Bullseye.

It improved the overall reception of the EPG. Before I had to run the EPG scanner several times with extended scan time to somewhat randomly complete all EPG entries for all TV stations. Now, I only need to run the EPG once with the default 60 sec scan.
That a great improvement!!

One issue is still remaining. The description of the show is still truncated sometimes.

They use a slightly different way to transmit show descriptions in Germany on DVB, and it's possible I don't have the logic quite right in NextPVR.

If you can capture and supply a sample full transport stream file, and a couple of screenshots of example programs, I'll check it here and fix.

On some SAT>IP devices, that is the case. Some don't support pids=all.

I am running Linux and as far as I know capturing transport stream is not really possible on this OS, right?
Also I am using SAT->IP in combination with a Cable receiver (Fritz.box).

I have no idea how you'd do it on Linux. You'd have to google it.

Do you have a Windows PC at home? You should be able to install another program from sub TSCapture https://www.tscapture.com/ and use evaluation mode. Note that the created file will be very large so you will need to put it on an external host like OneDrive, GoogleDrive or DropBox.

It is easy on Linux or windows to capture a full mux is you have tuner card. The issue is doing it from sat>IP so either you need to find out how to do it or use an alternate EPG source like Schedules Direct

I'd still need a sample full transport stream, so I can see the issue here, otherwise I have no way analyse the problem and fix the issue.
