Also, if there is anyone else out there who wants to try this, I had to change edid mode for one of my network encoders to dell in order to get audio.

Here is an idea of how it looks originally,after running the script and after the merge. https://imgur.com/a/9N9j7rd I used Kodi because it gives a name sort I guess you didn't map the last device to an EPG.
I assume this is what you what, it assumes the SD source channel is what you want. Let me know and I will give more details instructions. Martin

Good, don't worry about adding the EPG you are merging anyway
- back up your npvr.db3 and install a sqlite3 GUI program. - stop the nextpvr service - pasted the script I posted in the GUI program and execute it. - start the service - run the auto merge and give it a little bit of time. - check the channels page to make sure the merge happened - stop and start the service for good measure Note that this won't work if the Extras use different source channel numbers. NextPVR isn't very granular when it comes to merging and mapping Martin

Customers don't usually see that specific name though - I have different trading names I use. The NextPVR stuff is also done under this company, because it's not worth the effort of having a separate company for NextPVR.

fyi, the network encoder I got does h265. It just requires the latest firmware. |
