Unable to Map Channels in NextPVr 5.2.7.220410

Hi there,

I am having an unusual issue - I am upgrading from a raspberry pi 4 with Raspberry Pi OS to a Mele Quieter 3Q with Windows 11. I have installed the latest version of NextPVR (version 5.2.7.220410). I use two HDHomerun Connect tuners to catch the Over the air signals.

For some reason, on the pi (which uses an earlier version of NextPVR) and the new Mele Quieter 3Q computer, I get to the screen where you specify the xmltv file, but the box where you specify the channel in the xml file that maps to the channel on the hd homerun comes up blank. I am not sure what is going on. I was able to map channels successfully on the Raspberry at one point in time - but maybe that was on a previous version of NextPVR.

I have included my logs, my XML file and a screenshot of the screen with which I am having the issue.  Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that this error sums up the problem:

NextPVR can't find the xmltv file which you specified. (And, hence, it can't read any channels out of the xmltv file to display in the popup for you to select.)

I am not sure if my xml had been successfully attached, so I have zipped it and tried again.

Thank you for your help. I stopped using the file protocol and just used simply c:\tvguide\tvxml.new as the file name, it worked. Thank you very much for your help BretB!

It looks like you have SiliconDust DVR source what are you using to grab the XMLTV? There is a minor bug in the grabber, it is duplicating some markup for episode-num.
