Hi all

Is anyone else having an issue with the EPG updating on the newest docker version?

Seems fine at restart and then dies a day or later. Forcing I get

EPG Update complete. [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]

Post the logs next time it happens, and we'll take a look.

That seems weird to see in the UK

2022-09-14 02:45:26:261 [DEBUG] got ATSC EIT info. 14476 bytes.

But you also have several channels that don't lock so you might have a signal issue too.

I'd be very surprised if it was signal issues, I'm within spitting distance of the transmitter lol

Yes it probably something sub needs to check on.

I've tagged a new docker build call nextpvr_amd64:test. Try that build and let me know if it helps.

I've started running the test docker. I'll update you in a few days and see how it goes.

Do you want some initial logs? I have pulled the EPG

*EDIT*

Looks like it didn't take long to stop pulling EPG. I scanned for new channels and it stopped
(I hadn't previously been doing this)

Logs attached

This is close looks like a couple of issues

The 0x19 seems related to this https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid517171

Then a more interesting on the 0x0b character looks like an issue with an embedded 0x0a inside xml which should actually be valid but probably needs to be stripped out for display.

Yeah, looks like it's unhappy with some characters in the listings it's receiving.

If you can capture a one minute full transport stream recording from ITV2, and put it somewhere like onedrive or google drive, I'll try here in the debugger and fix it. Normally I'd ask Windows users to use the eval version of tscapture from https://tscapture.com to collect this file.
