Hi,

I installed NextPVR 6.0.0.220904 on my linux box running debian bullseye today.
NextPVR found my tuner and was able to scan channels, but for some reason only the first virtual channel is found for all frequencies.

I created the scan-table myself with w_scan (scan-table_dvbv5.conf in scan-tables.zip attached) because I saw some forum post saying that the scan-table provided by the linux distro could be out-dated.
With this custom scan-table, NextPVR found only channels that are the first virtual channel in their frequencies (/var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-ATSC-channels.conf in scan-tables.zip attached).
With the same scan-table, dvbv5-scan is able to find all channels available in my area (dvb_channel.conf in scan-tables.zip attached).

Log attached. Thank you for looking into this.

Did you manage to get this issue resolved? Hopefully I am not hijacking this thread, but I am having the same problem. I was using the a tuner card with a Window 10 install that received many more channels including the sub virtual channels with each (over 60-70 channels in total). Now I am only getting the 1st channel of each (about 12 channels total) when scanning in NextPVR just like the OP while using the same tuner card with a Ubuntu installation. Any insight on this issue would be much appreciated. Log is attached.

There are lots of things broken in DeviceHostLinux that sub needs to look at. I get many seg faults on start up now so I don't really recommend v6 on linux right now. I can't duplicate this because I don't have any channels with more than one sub channel.

Thanks for your response on this.

I run NextPVR on two Linux computers, and I updated both when 6.0.0.220904 was released. I have not performed a channel re-scan on one of the computers since the v6 update, and the channels on that computer list and record as they did prior to the v6 update. Just FYI. Hope that helps.

It isn't just scanning though, there are DeviceHostLinux crashes when I record and this has been repeated in a few other log posts. You might want to check sudo journalctl | grep | DeviceHost

If one of you guys can capture a one minute sample transport stream, I'll try it here with signal generator. Put it somewhere like onedrive or googledrive, and let me know the download link.

I'm not seeing any problem in my part of the world, but we use DVB-T. It might be something ATSC specific.

DVB-T is crashing https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=64190 too. That is what I see with ATSC.

I don't have any multiple channel streams but to help sub out you can use this after stopping the NextPVR service.

dvbv5-zap --c /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-ATSC-channels.conf channelname -P -t 60 -o fullmux.ts

Look in /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-ATSC-channels.conf for the channel name in square brackets.

Thank you guys for the replies.

I followed mvallevand's command and captured some streams. Please check them out here on onedrive: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Am3o0mT1WV5qmyEFAkMb...A?e=RemqYe

Again thank you for looking into this.

Thanks. Downloaded.

It'll probably be tomorrow afternoon before I can look at it.

I have been able to confirm this issue is happening, and I'm working on a fix now.
