Recording Images (pictures)

When going into recordings and seeing the individual series, each series has an image, these images are usually related to that series.

I currently have four different series programming with a generic image, a starry night city sky line.

Is it possible to easily change the images with ones downloaded from the web, say from IMDB or other such website. If so how?

I assume that there are no images for these four programs because they are, shall we call it, less popular and / or their age.

One has 44 episodes across 2 season and premiered in 1999
One only has 78 episodes across 3 seasons and premiered in 1964
The last has 152 episodes across 5 seasons and premiered 1962

There are only three with missing images. For some reason one appears twice.

After the change made for Supermarket Sweeps it is easy for SD based recordings to appear twice.

You can go into media\shows and delete showname*catalog.xml (there should not be a jpg/png) and NextPVR will redownload it.

A few months ago when SD disabled art there were a few shows that generated stary nights.

If you ever have the wrong art or you want better art the showname*fanart.jpg and showname.jpg can be replaced. The files that have the _######## are SD downloads.

Thank You, all shows in my recordings list now have images.

Is there anything I can do about the show(s) that appear in the list twice?

I discovered that the two separate groupings of recordings was because one set is of the TV series, and the other is a movie by the same name that the TV series is base off of

That is one reason that sub moved to the SD naming convention. NextPVR and Kodi clients won't have the movie grouped with the episodes. Other EPG source won't have that.

Too be honest I wasn't expecting the movie to broadcast. I was expecting to have to buy or stream it to see it.
