NextPVR server seems to be working OK running under LibreElec. I imported my cut down 28.2 ini file for the UK "West" region with only 24 transponders instead of the default around 110. I scanned with my SAT>IP tuners then deleted the unwanted channels which left me with 44. I scanned for EPG data with the Freesat option but it found nothing. There are reports that it does not work in the latest version of NextPVR and has now disappeared from the EPG options.

Instead I imported the Freesat EPG XML file from my Windows server where it is created by EPG Collector. Initially by USB memory but now via a SMB link to the directory on the Windows server then copy the file to a local directory. The XMLTV file path does not seem to support a path starting smb:// so don’t seem to be directly access the file on the Windows Server!

I have made a test recording and it plays back OK!

Ok that is progress SAT>IP should be very similar between Linux and Windows. I don't know how SAT>IP EPG scanning works

There is no smb:// notation in Linux that is a Kodi extension much the Windows UNC \\server\name won't work either your best bet is to have LE map it by the creating a storage service. It is actually pretty easy if you follow the instructions on the wiki https://wiki.libreelec.tv/how-to/mount_network_share

The patch for the issue you reported with the missing RTSP port variable is now in distribution so you might want to turn off automatic updates, basically that reinstalls the addon and NextPVR, versioning doesn't distinguish. You can probably skip this update but it can be disruptive. It should show in the updates as 6.1.1~1 on Nexus and 6.1.1~101 on Matrix (LE Team changed versioning in LE11 to start at zero)

As a test I temporarily replaced the Windows 10 NextPVR server disk in my now almost 10 years old HP Microserver with the LibreElec disk. I was pleasantly surprised that it detected what I thought would be a rather obscure DVBSky S952 PCIe DVB-S card. I was less surprised that the Hauppauge dual DVB-T card was detected. It was the chip set that was detected not the tuner manufacturer in both cases. Both scanned and seemed to find the expected channels!!
The remaining problem is the EPG data for which I use EPG Collector to generate under Windows. I need to keep using it for compatibility with the programme IDs stored in the Recently Deleted data. It can be persuaded to run under Linux but unsure it will run under LibreElec!
