I have a 950 plugged into a Dell Optiplex 9020 running windows 10 and NextPVR version 6.1.1.221106

I have had a problem with this setup for a number of years and number of versions of NextPVR.

What happens is that after a few hours or days of use the EPG stops updating.  If I login to NextPVR Settings and click Update EPG, then it just sits there doing nothing. The PC is NOT set to go into hibernation/power saving mode.

If I reboot the machine then after NextPVR comes up and finishes initializing I then login and click Update EPG, then it works normally and scans the frequencies and updates the tv guide.

Short of a kludge like rebooting the PC every couple hours, is there any reason that this might be happening?

Can you post the logs, so we can see the problem happening?

Which logs do you want?

I can post the log from after rebooting the system and running epg update but since there is no problem there I don't know that that log is going to show anything.

I just rebooted it an hour ago and the EPG updated the TV guide until 8pm this evening.  So I can try clicking on EPG Update tonight around 6pm and if that fails to do anything I can post a log from that if that's what you want.  If it works I can keep checking it until it fails again.

Where would the log file be located that you want?

Immediately after you've seen the problem happen, go to the Settings->About page, and click the 'log files' button. Post the log files zip it gives you.
