Managing channels

Hi,

Is there a way so that I can create for example 2 new channel groups called children, and the other adults and copy specific channels into it?

I like to copy them into it so that I dont take them out of the default channel group they come from. Also as some channels both groups will have access to.

Additionally, is there a way to lock certain channel groups so that children cant see them?

On the Settings -> Channels page, you can select Advanced Tools -> Channel Groups. From there you can click the "+" button to add channel groups, and tick whatever channels you want in this group. These can be selected as the current channel group.

Unfortunately, there is no way to lockout/hide channel groups though.
