Watching HD channels on Live TV

Hi,

It's only a small problem, everything else works fine, but I can't watch BBC channels "live".

If I select "watch" for ITV, which I think is SD still, it works fine. But nothing happens when I do that for BBC1, which is HD.

If I select "quick record", I can then "play" all the channels ok, and the files play ok with Kodi.

I'm using a TDS 6902 S2 tuner card, and I've got "decoders" set to LAV.

Is there any difference if you try watching live tv in nextpvr.exe vs kodi?

Sorry, not sure what you mean.
I think the only channels I currently access in HD are BBC.
If I select "live TV" from the NextPvr menu, I can then watch any channel except BBC ones.
If I select a BBC channel Live TV just stops.
If I select a channel from the guide, I can then select "watch" for any channel except BBC.
If I select a channel from the guide, start it recording, then I can watch it with the "play" option, but only for non BBC channels.
I only use Kodi to watch the recorded programs, which works for all channels.
Recording works perfectly for all channels.

Sub's questions was does Live TV work in Kodi, it wasn't clear in you original post you only use Kodi for recordings.

In any case it look like a signal issue since the BBC signals didn't lock. Not sure how long ago you scanned, but sometimes re-scanning with new tuning files is required. That certainly was the case with BBC earlier this year.

Can we assume that you have updated your 28.2.ini file and done a channel scan after the major BBC changes earlier in the year?
