Is it possible to put all data on a cloud drive, so I could record on one computer and watch it on my laptop remotely?

There is nothing that'd stop you from playing videos from a cloud drive in Video Library.

Depending on the cloud technology, the initial download and bandwidth might make playback difficult. You could always open your NextPVR server to the Internet. Less safe.

You can also run IPTV NextPVR servers directly on the cloud using a VPS for under $5 a month. These typically have plenty of bandwidth.

I was hoping I could put NextPVR on my laptop also and the catalog and data files on Onedrive, so I could watch on either computer.

That won't work, OneDrive won't handle dynamic files. Are they same network at home?

Maybe use the PostProcess hook to copy/move a recorded file to another location, which could be a cloud drive? Won't give you live playback obviously.

NextPVR has quite good remote access if you open up your server to the Internet when you have reasonable upload speed at the server, generally download will OK.

If you have slow speed from the web server even if you don't want to install a client you can download recordings. With OneDrive you still have to download the recording to view it, so speed will still be an issue.
