MainConcept mux not present

After latest Win10 updates, NextPVR will not play from within Kodi, and streaming directly from the app fails with a transcoder error. The next-to-last line in the Devices log file shows:

"FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: MainConcept (HCW) MPEG Multiplexer-Plus"

I restarted the PC and stopped / started the NextPVR service with no effect.

I uploaded the log files.

Help would be appreciated.

That log item is not a problem. Logs need to be zipped and under 2MB.

Ok you are still running 6.1.4 and you are experiencing the IsComplete() but which causes NextPVR to hang. I thought it was related to thumbnails, but you seem to have it on Live TV.

To get a new version without the IsComplete bug, of course. I did see Kodi connecting. The only thing that might be suspect is the signal for KJRH but we can't tell until you have the new version, as I said I didn't know the issue was also on live TV, I hadn't see logs with that.

Yes the issue was with Live TV, both via the app and via Kodi. I'll update and let you know.

I downloaded the latest version, no dice. I also checked for updated drivers for my Hauppauge quad-tuner but they're current. Fresh logs attached.

Yes that is a different IsComplete() message on LiveTV that sub will need to look as it blocks Kodi.

I did think that it might be caused by a signal error, so check your cables, splits and antenna.

I don't have WinTV installed. The client app won't show TV, nor will the 'Channels' option in the server. No changes have been made to any cables or splitters feeding the Win10 PC.

I have a straight connection from the same antenna to a different TV and it's tuner plays channels fine.

I backed out last night's Windows Updates, no effect.

UPDATE: Recorded programs play fine. Any diagnostics I can run?

2nd UPDATE: I uninstalled the Hauppauge card, which reinstalled at restart and now all is working. I think one of the Windows Updates bamboozled it (technical term).
