HDHomerun channel scan not working

My setup is Mint 21.2, a windows PC using my phone as a Ethernet modem, so no firewall.  I have 1 Wintv QuadHD and 1 HDHomerun extend. I understand that with windows you use the HD Homerun app for channel scan. There isn't an app for Linux, but a configuration file. I set that up.  But I still cant get a channel scan to work. I had this HDHomerun working in TVHeadend. What am I missing here? the QuadHD works fine. I searched the forum and web but can't find anything.

I think the first paragraph here refers to the issue you are having https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid585921 it isn't the windows scan as much as saving the configuration on the Silicondust host. That is needed to use their app too.

@WagMan, I have finished my addon to NextPVR that will do the scan without needing Windows if you are interested in trying it.
