Hi, after many months successful usage of NextPVR, I'm now getting a permanent
"Unable to find available capture device (Device failed to Start)" failure message when launching Live TV from NextPVR desktop App.

Obvious changes I made /happened on the PC (Windows 11 Pro 23H2) that could be related to the problem are Windows Update but also an SW installation for an USB Video grabber device.

I'm attaching the NextPVR logs.

Thanks in advance for taking a look and letting me know how to further proceed (from my side) to get the problem further anlysed and resolved.

It looks like the BDA drivers for your tuner need to be reinstalled

2023-12-12 19:28:23.084 [DEBUG][4] No BDA capture filter for this device

or the device was unplugged at the time, or the driver had crashed (needing a reboot to reload it)

Thank You both,

as the evice is a PCIe card (Digital Devices cine S2), i.e. always connected and I'm having few re-boots already done,
I would think the path for more investigation is the one towards the BDA drivers ...

... which I'm not familar with, but I guess they are used /intended to get some hardware abstraction layer (?) used by NextPVR not having to worry about specific hardware/firmware details of devices.
If so then the BDA drivers in my case would come from Digital Devices - correct ? i.e. a re-install of Digital devices SW package (including the drivers) might fix the problem ?

Might be a good learning exercise for me to also go through the logs to understand a bit more the concept of NextPVR

Let me know in case I would be off track ...

It depends on the company, if you can just re-install a file called drivers you might be ok.
