Seeking Free iOS App for NextPVR: Any Alternatives?

Hey fellow streamers,

I'm on the lookout for a free iOS app to serve as a front-end for my NextPVR server. Unfortunately, Jellyfin and Emby haven't been cooperating, and I'm not keen on shelling out for the official NextPVR app.

Any tips on how to connect Jellyfin or Emby to a NextPVR server? Or perhaps you know of another alternative that does the job for free? Share your insights and experiences below. Let's help each other find the perfect iOS app for NextPVR!

Kodi can work on iOS but installations is not easy. Emby isn't free anyway and I feel it is worth supporting sub's work, so consider the trivial amount of money involved well spent.

I have the Next PVR app to support the development of the app which I think is important. I use the app to schedule and record, but for watching, everything that gets recorded gets saved in a folder that is picked up by my Plex server and I use Plex to watch the recorded content. (I prefer the Infuse app actually which connects to Plex) I'm guessing you could do the same wtih those other 2 media servers.

It looks like the problem might be related to the M3U file format or the stream URLs themselves. Have you checked if the URLs in the M3U file are accessible directly via VLC or another media player? Sometimes, the issue could be with the stream source rather than NextPVR. Also, double-check the format of your M3U file to ensure it's compatible with NextPVR's requirements.
