nlite client fails to find server, then crashes

I installed the nlite client on my Windows 11 laptop. It connects to the same network as my NextPVR machine. I can contact the machine via the web interface, and watch TV that way fine. But, when I start Nlite it says "No NextPVR servers were detected on the network". When I close that dialog, I get a Microsoft .NET Framework Unhandled exception report as follows

You may have some firewall software blocking discovery.

You could try explicitly telling where it is with a command line like:

nlite.exe -server:192.168.1.12:8866:0000

replacing the ip address with that of your server

Thanks for that - I had changed the default PIN, so that's probably why it wouldn't connect. The command line incantation you suggested works fine (with the correct IP and PIN).

If I start nlite, then make it full screen, all the writing in the TV guide is a bit blurry. But if I start it full screen in the first place, it's OK. Odd.
