I have a cheap old MyGica usb stick (https://www.mygica.com/product/t230/) that works brilliantly with Nextpvr..trouble is it only has one tuner. Would it be easy just to add another one to hopefully add another tuner?
Would save me buying a new more expensive dual tuner stick. Thanks.

The issue adding a second tuner would be signal strength. Typically, but not always, the antenna connection inside a dual or quad tuner is designed to partially compensate for the inherent signal lose. When you split the signal yourself you can't do that and boosters don't always help.

From a NextPVR perspective adding any tuner of the same type (not the same brand) is simple accepting copy when prompted. Since MyGica tuners are often terrible on Linux I assume you are using Windows so you do need to ensure a new tuner has proper BDA drivers. Maybe check the forum for the tuner you are considering.

Thanks for the info Martin..yes i'm using Windows 11. I have my one tuner usb connected via a 4 way booster and it works well so i'll probably give another usb a try. I'll double check they are proper BDA drivers also. Appreciate the input.
