Not playing or recording after router change

I don't see why it should be related to changing routers, but that is the timing of when NPVR stopped recording or playing live TV. I have 2 SD Homerun tuners and both are shown in NPVR status. The status also shows recording happening. But the result is a 0 byte file. When I try to play live TV it simply fails after a little while of trying.

BTW I can play live TV from either of the tuners using the HD Homerun interface on the same windows computer, so the problem appears to be on the NPVR end.

If you aren't assigning a static IP to your HDHR on your new router. First thing to check is the firewall for the new device IP for UDP and TCP. You can test with the firewall offf.

If not, you might need to rescan to get the new IP, not sure how legacy mode works with the IP.

Well it was the Windows 11 firewall settings. The new WIFI connection was set to public by default and NextPVR server was set open to private network only. Apparently the old router had been set to private so it worked with NPVR. I changed the WIFI connection to private and for good measure opened NextPVR server to public in firewall settings since it is a trusted app.
