Restrictive recording works well

1) as long as I make sure my source is the only channel being recorded for streaming (do not record two or three streams simultaneously)

2) as long as I make sure to not switch channels too soon after the recording is done. 

3) as long as the PC win10 workstation does not go to sleep or go offline. 

All recordings work well and perfectly in a WIN10 WORKSTATION set up!!!  Just want to confirm this for those who try and fail. The software works every time.

Not sure of the point of this thread, we all know that NextPVR is quite reliable and has no such restrictions.

Both 1 and 2 relate to your on-going problem with overusing the number of streams your provider is giving you for which your have refused to provide logs. You should be able to tell NextPVR the number of streams your provider gives you so it doesn't try and record too many, kills live TV for recordings. This is no different with hardware tuners, you can only record the number of frequencies that you have tuners for. #2 could also be the EPG issue where you IPTV time is not exact so you are tuning in the padding area and it might tune before the show finishes but the guide time has finished.

As for 3 NextPVR will wake from sleep for recordings if your machine is configured correctly and it is up to you to do that. Bad networking is not a NextPVR issue.
