Streamlink + NextPVR + Pluto TV stream freezing during ads

Hey there, so I recently set up NextPVR with the Pluto TV Extra plugin that utilizes Streamlink. When viewing PlutoTV streams, after entering or exiting an ad, the stream freezes. I am aware that this is likely due to the way that Pluto uses HLSS. I am viewing through NextPVR web client, local client and Kodi.

The NextPVR community has said that Streamlink already has addressed this issue, but being on the latest version seems to not be the case.

My questions are:

Where are the Streamlink logs located in Windows 10? I have been digging for them in Temp, AppData and the install directory but have yet to find one. Finding the log will help me narrow down the issue for a Github bug report.

Is there a workaround that anyone knows of to prevent the stream freezing?

The support sub-forum for PlutoTV is here https://forums.nextpvr.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=64 and if you were to look you would see other users attempts to fix it but there is no solution. streamlink is better than raw m3u but not going to give great results.

Streamlink support is on GitHub, but you can edit the CLI default using the streamlink config file. Adding a line like logfile=C:\temp\streamlink.log should do.
