Thanks Martin!

I always used TVHeadend so far, but since I discovered NextPVR, I'm very happy with it. It's very user-friendly compared to TVH and looks very stable.

Also the support of you guys is great! :-)
Keep up the great work!

Here's a new tuning file for Ziggo, The Netherlands.
Please delete all old files for Ziggo, they are outdated, thanks.

However, some channels with special characters are not listed when scanning the muxes.
Can you please fix this?

See attachments.

You have to be more specific since I see a few with special characters in there.

2025-07-07 18:24:49.236 [DEBUG][39] Ziggo - Omroep Súdwest Radio
2025-07-07 18:24:57.237 [DEBUG][39] Ziggo - Omrop Fryslân
2025-07-07 18:25:29.234 [DEBUG][39] Ziggo - TRT Türk

Perhaps the best thing to do would be create some info for a frequency missing channel, let is run for one minute and then post a link to the file.

Code:
ffmpeg -rtsp_flags satip_raw -i "satip://192.168.178.1:554/?src=1&freq=###&sr=6900&msys=dvbc&mtype=256qam&bw=8&pids=0,16,17,18" " -map 0 -c copy -f data -y fullmux.ts

You could try with pids=all if your server supports it.

Sorry, I'm wrong, the special characters seems to be okay. The problem is elsewhere.

Here two pictures.

RTL 4 is missing on number 4, but is available on number 1000
RTL 5 is available on number 5, but is the encrypted version, it should be number 1001
Veronica / Disney Jr. / Net5 and RTL 8 are the encrypted channels, the FTA channels are missing except 1017 Net5.

Example of freq 402 MHz where Veronica can be found as FTA.

And here some logs. What does this mean:
2025-07-08 19:30:57.865 [ERROR][77] TS continuity counter indicates missing packets

I don't have this with other DVB software.

Ignore that EPG error it just means data was not perfect, it rarely is.

The problem might be duplicate channel name. If you delete the Disney that is encrypted and create an ini file for only the unencrypted frequency does it scan and get added?

Data seems fine here

I checked, but no, it doesn't scan and it's not been added. The problem is probably indeed the duplicate channel name.
It should take the unencrypted one in case there's an duplicate channel name and take the LCN of it (NIT Other).

If you removed (not just unticked) the encrypted channel it shouldn't be a duplicate so maybe it is something else and we'd need to see the logs.

Ideally the key that NextPVR uses should allow duplicates anyway there are situations where the same name is duplicated even when encrypted.

Edit it seems the channel might not have been deleted but also you didn't do a single channel scan.

Code:

OK sorry I thought those were the recent logs, that delete from yesterday was still odd.

It would help if you send the zipped logs, as I said there shouldn't be a duplicate of channel 8 anymore after the delete.
