How to get xmltv from NextPVR working in Emby?

Hi all,

i am testing several front- and backends which working seamless with emby.

NextPVR as standalone works flawless, so far so good.
Now i want to bring Live-TV to emby.

  http://<NPVR IP>:8866/service?method=channel.m3u

works instantly, but

  http://<NPVR IP>:8866/service?method=channel.xmltv

does not. I have donated, so can anybody help?

If it is failing from Emby provide the NextPVR zipped logs from the web setting screen which will show what is happening.

Note that using Emby won't be flawless, since the m3u interface does not provide the same optimizations you would get in native mode.

Sure.
Reviewed the NPVR logs and all is good. Emby is simply crashing.
I only want a simple solution for Live-TV with Android-Devices.

Tested the NextPVR-Android-App on my smartphone and i can´t set the connection over HTTPS.
So this is the reason why i want a workaround via Emby to get my Smartphones working.

Frustrating.

Kodi will work via https but setting up https will take manipulating a file in Kodi file manager and potentially having to install a private cert. Sideloading uidroid will allow you to enter to enter an https URL and avoid the cert issue but it is a direct play client and the touch control for it can be a bit tricky to figure out.

So, the native NPVR-Android-App does not work over HTTPS?

I don't know about sub's client I was talking about sideloading uidroid.

However from the logs I can't tell why the login failed via https and I assume your proxy. Perhaps you need to change the username and password from the default for https if you haven't already.

Is there any manual to get the Android-App working with https?

EDIT:
Anyway, i canceled the App via Playstore to get my money back.

Buy before try (and not working) is not what some people want.
