After updating to version 7, Czech characters are displayed incorrectly in the EPG

From where? xmltv or dvbepg?

If the latter, please supply a 1 minute full transport stream sample, so I can try it here. You can capture this using eval version of tscapture from tscapture.com

stanfilmy, I seem to remember the use a non-standard text encoding in Czech DVB broadcasts. It might just be case of setting <DefaultDVBCodePage>x-cp20269</DefaultDVBCodePage> in config.xml, then do an empty epg followed by an update epg.

Thank you, I changed the font and it seems to be the right way, but the diacritical mark is displayed outside the corresponding character one character earlier see the picture.
The second image shows how the text should look like.

The sample ts is on dropbox at this address https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1a545lshw...thycw&dl=0
Epg is from dvbepg

Thanks for that I am sure that it will help sub nail it down. I wrote a quick python script to clean the database after scanning that mux and it looks much better since all the 0xc2 characters were wrong from this list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T.51/ISO/IEC_6937

Are any of the other characters used there and wrong?

I would say that all Czech characters with diacritics

i.e. ěščřžýáíéúů including uppercase ones are displayed incorrectly in the same way

Much appreciated, I didn't understand at first until I looked carefully and noticed the accent was slightly before the character, with the acute accent I fixed it was more dramatic.

Thank you. Acute is in the right place, but Caron is one character off.

I but in a quick hack to pvr.nextpvr for Kodi to test what I think the problem is so sub can have a deeper look.  Does this look like the accents are in the correct place?
