Hello,   am experiencing a rather weird issue, in that when using Kodi with Nextpvr addon, I have noticed that one of my channels will not display any guide data.
In last couple of days, I now notice that 2 channels no longer display guide data, and just get completely blank fields in the guide inside Kodi.

The weird bit is that if I view the web based guide inside NextPVR web interface, and inside UIdroid, and even in an IPTV client like Tivimate,  all the guide data is present.
It is only the Kodi client that the guide data does not display.

It is so bewilderingly strange, that I hesitate to even bring it up.

Both the affected channels are DVB-T,  and I have Nextpvr set to grab DVB data for the guide sources.
The channels are Sky Open, and Trackside2. (both New Zealand DVB-T channels here)

I also can access the Trackside2 channel as a Colossus STB channel from a Sky Box, and obtain data by scraping to an XMLTV file for those STB derived channels,  but just use NextPVR's own DVB guide gathering for the DVB-T side of things.

I tried nuking Kodi on a client, and reinstalling and configuring from scratch, and the same thing occurs and the guide for those channels is blank.
Yet, from the NextPVR web interface, the guide data for the affected channels is present,  and likewise in the other clients I have tried.  It is just Kodi NextPVR addon that is affected.

Any ideas as to what might cause this strange behavior?

I suggest uploading your npvr.db3 somewhere and providing a link to see if it is related to this https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid597936 but also for Kodi problems remember that a Kodi debug log is required.

Thanks for that information.
I will try and work out how to get the kodi logs.

As an experiment, I made a backup of the NextPVR data,  and then nuked the database file, rebooted, and then setup all the devices and channels from scratch in NextPVR.

Again, the NextPVR web interface see's all channel data.

I then nuked the Kodi NextPVR addon, and then installed and reconfigured again.

When the guide imports, this time I had channel data for the Sky Open,   but the Trackside2 data is not showing in Kodi.
(But Trackside2 data shows perfectly in any other client)

If you use one of the "other clients", go to the Guide, go to the Trackside2 channel and then try to move right through the guide data, do you have to press the right arrow twice each time to move to the next show? Or does it move after just a single press?

Of course, if you would just upload and make available your npvr3.db file as requested, then we could see directly if you are being affected by the same bug referenced in the post Martin linked to.

Oh, thanks for the clarification.

I am just trying the empty guide channel in the UIdroid,  and yes, the data is present, but I have to press the left and right arrow keys 'twice' to navigate between guide data cells.
In kodi, I just get nothing but a super long blank line.

I think I can artificially try and fix the issue by pulling in the guide data from XMLTV file, but was just curious as to why the built in epg grabbing was doing that.
Am certain it worked correctly previously.

Will get the kodi logs and upload and link the database file somewhere.

I would appreciate the database because I'd like to figure out why you can get it in the NextPVR web with the JSON interface and not in Kodi with XML.

So it seems like you are encountering the same bug that the other user did. With the latest version of NextPVR getting DVB guide listings from multiple frequencies, some channels are getting duplicate entries for some channels. Normally, once NextPVR gets listings for a channel, it will ignore that channel in other EPG broadcasts. But, there seems to be a new bug where (in at least some cases) channels are getting multiple show entries for each time slot and that is "confusing" NextPVR.

The other user was able to "fix" the issue by changing their DVB EPG collecting to only scan 1 DVB frequency for listings. In their country, the listings on that one frequency covered ALL channels not just the ones broadcast on that frequency. That work-around might also work for you in your country.

It would be very helpful if you could get Martin a copy of your database with the duplicate show entries as he requested so that he can see why the EPG pull to Kodi is apparently not getting ANY listings rather than the duplicate listings.

Am just trying to setup logging in Kodi.

Which log settings should I enable?
ie.  Event logging is on by default,  then there are options for 'debug logging'  'component logging'  'notification event logging'

You want all?

None of those. Debug logging as explained on the nextpvr and Kodi wikis but if I get the database I should be able to duplicate it.
