We upgraded from v7.0.2.250621 to v7.0.3.250920 yesterday.

Previously, nextpvr.exe would indicate that a show is scheduled to be recorded with a red background on the guide.  As of v7.0.3.250920, this no longer appears to be the case.  Is there an option to reenable this feature?

The guide is indicating shows are scheduled to be recorded on the timeline with a red background.  Is this a new feature or have we just noticed it?

This is usually a sign you have duplicate listings in your guide, and the highlighted one is behind others that will not record.

If you do an empty EPG followed by update EPG, do they then show?

What guide source are you using?

An empty EPG followed by an update EPG did not change the nextpvr.exe guide's display behavior.

The guide source is XMLTV.

I did discover the update EPG script had been failing since 9/17 when I updated Strawberry Perl to 5.42.0.1 and neglected to patch Copy.pm.

Reverting back to v7.0.2.250621 also has no impact.

Reverting the NPVR-data to 9/23 (prior to applying the upgrade) appears to correct the guide display of the shows to be recorded.  To resolve the What's New displaying all possible recordings since 9/23 as having "failed", I imported the missing recordings-backup.xml from the 9/26 NPVR-data and deleted the "failed" recordings.

We're now on v7.0.3.250920 and will post if the issue reappears.

If it reappears maybe post a link to your npvr.db3 too.

hae, can you try updating your NUtilities.dll with the one attached, and let us know if it resolves the issue?

You will need to update the EPG to see a change, and for good measure, empty the EPG first.

I had rolled back to v7.0.2.250621 and pre-update npvr.db3.

I've now reapplied v7.0.3.250920, replaced the NUtilities.dll, restored the most recent v7.0.3.250920'd npvr.db3, emptied and updated the EPG, and...

The shows to be recorded appear to be correctly highlighted - except the show that was about to be recorded (and is now actually recording).

When this recording completes, I plan to roll back to the pre-update npvr.db3 assuming the NUtilities.dll may be intended prevent an issue from entering the database.

An EPG update often will not show current shows if they started in the past like NFL football might.
