Possible Bug?

This may be user error, or maybe even expected behavior, not sure.  I just re-did my OS installation and installation of NextPVR, on Linux.  I had some issues with transcoding, which I got fixed.

But what I noticed while I was working on it, was if transcoding failed, the IPTV tuner wasn't released. I had to manually go into the tuner and release it.  The HDHomeRun was released as expected.  It only seemed to happen on my IPTV device.

Without logs there are no problems.

There is a known issue if you start streaming in a browser and exit the browser before the streaming starts playing it could stream forever but this sounds different.

No worries. It's working fine now that I have transcoding working and I'm not going to break my system to get the logs.
