When I start more than one stream, the streams overlap with each other, on the second device I see the same stream as on the first device or vice versa
My base operating system is Debian 13. I have also tested this with different operating systems such as Unraid and others, and the behavior is always the same.

If I only watch a single stream or make one recording, it works perfectly. As soon as I start a second stream or recording, the overlapping issue happens.

Is there a setting I can check or adjust for this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Without logs there are no problems. I checked so old logs and you did use UDP before. Are you running host mode so UDP gets passed through correctly?

Yes, exactly, I use UDP multicast stream and my Docker is set to network_mode: "host". With a separate Docker network and port forwarding, the UDP/Multicast stream does not function reliably.

Docker-Compose:

services:
nextpvr_amd64:
image: nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64Confusedtable
container_name: nextpvr
network_mode: "host"
devices:
- /dev/dri:/dev/dri
volumes:
- /opt/nextpvr/config:/config
- /opt/nextpvr/buffer:/buffer
- /mnt/tv_media:/media
restart: unless-stopped

Are you trying to play two streams from the same browser? That isn't possible, you'd need to open another browser or open and login to a new private Firefox session.

No, I know that two streams from the same device are not possible.

For example, if i start recording a movie and then start another stream to watch a tv show, the streams overlap.
Or if I start a stream on my iPad and my girlfriend starts one on the TV, the same thing happens.

Is it possible that recordings simply fail because of

2026-01-21 15:05:26.849 [ERROR][1] Recording directory does not exist: /media/tvshows/

I confirmed on bare metal and on Docker that I can stream multiple Live TV channels.  I also confirmed that the same channel can stream multiple times, more than the source direct allows.

If you are using teleboy, maybe it is a proxy or other server limit?

Thank you for confirming that it generally works.

I am not using a proxy and the missing directory was once when I tried different setups.
Then there must be a problem with my setup, or perhaps it's a network problem, multicast/udp is a tricky one;-).
As I said, it works perfectly with one stream, and usually a single stream is enough for me.

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.

Actually after posting that I tested something else and it fails and confirmed your play list works the same way. I will discuss this with sub the author.

Is it possible to get access to the older versions 7.0.1.241229 & 7.0.2.250621 so i can test it with them? I'm not really sure, but I don't think that was always the case.

Not unless you make backups of your Docker.. However the problem will be fixed in the next version which isn't too far off. It is possible that your playlist changed, the issue is the shared 5000 port.
