New user here trying to figure this thing out.
So I use my IPTV on Windows PC and I've been trying the recording function and it's been working great. However, I notice that I can't always download the recordings.
If the channel name has "RAW" after it, the download is a blank file with no bytes. However, my recording from KABC does download as a .ts file with no problem.
The recordings from the "RAW" channels can still be played back but I have to use an HLS capture program to get it, and I have to play the recording all the way through for the capture, and the resolution seems to cap at 720p, but my KABC ts file came out 1080p in the download.
So my questions right now are:
- Is there a better way to download my recordings from "RAW" channels?
- Are the recordings stored somewhere on my hard drive or on a server? I select the directory as my C:\Users\[username]\Videos folder but nothing comes up in it.
- KSDK St. Louis had multiple feeds with different letters at the end. What does the (D) mean in this case? There was also one with an (A).
- Does my PC have to be on when a recording time is set in order for it to record, and do I have to keep a tab with NextPVR open the whole time?
