Built in 'Up' and 'Down' channel support....

This would only work if your channel arrangement on the PC is in sync with whatever TV stations you have, but... Since Live Preview is so great and enables channel hopping, it'd be nice to have the option not to have to send programmatically '1--7--6' to change from channel 175 to 176, but instead just send the STBs 'Up' or 'Down' remote buttons when the HTPCs 'Up' and 'Down' are sent and updating the channel on the HTPC at the same time.

Any thoughts..?

That would be quicker throught an IRBlaster but what if they get out of sync. What if the channel that gbpvr thinks is on, isn't.

The problem with up / down is that it's a relative change where as sending the channel number is absolute change every time. Yes it's longer but ultimately more reliable.

Yeah, I'd prefer not to go there. Two main reasons (1) I cant be sure the STB is still only the last channel GB-PVR changed to, (2) some of the IR Blasters supported by GB-PVR dont support a channel up/down command.
