where does the "record" box for the tv guide get its size/pos?

where does the option "record" in the tv guide when you select a show get its size and position from?

im using a skin with resolution 852x480 (suppose to be 856, but i wrote down the 16:9 size wrong, and to lazy to change, anway), in the "recordings" screen if i go to manual recording the black rectangle is drawn and centered but if i go to "record" in the "tv guide" only the first 720 pixels of the image is drawn, ie the right of the rectangle is cut off.

a few of these things seem to get there size/pos from other places in the skin, like the live guide uses the popup from the "tv guide", which is annoying since for live tv i have to use 720x480 otherwise it gets cut off by my tv (the image becomes larger than the display, ie its painted offscreen on the right), but in the tv guide i can use 852x480 so can fit more info, and i centered the popup box for the tv guide, but when its displayed in the live tv guide, some of it is painted offscreen and to the right.

How come your backgrounds are still black and white?

theyre black and white becausei havent changed their colours, i like them like that.

back to my original question. how do i fix it?

the size for those images dont seem to work when the popup is displayed in the guide, and the programme description box in the live guide is another matter completely (more of a skinning request i guess).

I know some of it is hardcoded, for example selection outline, so you may not be able to make it wider if that is what you're trying to do. Unfortunately I cant remember for sure.

most of my menus are at 852x480, so yeah trying to make it wider. when you get a chance sub can you make it get the height/width from the composite image size.

it can wait to version 1.5 for all i care, not a big issue. just a bug (if it qualifies as that).
