TV horizontally stretched over MVP

When watching TV over the mvp (or TV recordings), the picture shows up horizontally stretched a little. For example, when they show the FOX logo in the bottom right corner of the screen, I can only see roughly half of the logo. I used the MVP screen positioner plugin to ensure that the positioning is correct on the MVP, but I still get stretched video.

Does anyone know what I need to change to get this to look right?

I dont actually get any say over the size of the video displayed via the MVP on your TV. This is all managed by the Hauppauge software running on the MVP. In your case, it sounds like the overscan of your TV is hiding too much.

Sometimes my mediaMVP picture is stretched too! my solution: unplug the MediaMVP power; wait a minute and plug it on again.
