Error message due to old video card?

Hello,
I am getting the following error when trying to run GBPVR...

"This system does not appear to support VMR9. Please try a different renderer"

I was able to get it running on a newer laptop, but not on my older desktop... Does this have to do with the destop machine having an older video card?

Yes, older video cards may not support VMR9. Try selecting the overlay setting instead.
