Hello,
I had installed v0.13 when I saw new release v0.14 which I installed...but I have some issues to ask.
I use PVR350 (latest drivers), XP, SP1 (fresh installed system)....and as I come from Greece I use PAL (tunning channels as "Italy" )...so
* I Installed GBPVR v0.1.4

----works OK but
FF/REW does not work on LiveTV...is it right?...
When changing channels flikering on TV screen when OSD is displayed
after 3h live TV stoped TVout (but happend once or two times out of 5 trials)

----If I play a video file
OSD does not display FF/REW/SKIP keys but it works...
(in previous release v0.13 it was OK)

----I should notice that if I used Mpeg2 Soft decoder=System default or Intervideo
I did noticed the same behaviour
....is it correct?...or did I do something wrong

Hello Sub,
Sorry about my English,... I will try again.
OK about the notice that the FF/REW do not work in LiveTV.

1) When I change channels in Live TV the blue-bar appears, but the picture is flickering (that is it is not stable and clear) until the blue bar disappears....why?...

2) When I play a video file from the Videp Library FF/REW work, but the blue bar appears on screen without the icons of FF/REW/PAUSE... (as I said these icons appeard in v0.13). Have I done something wrong in the installation?...

3) this is not a question but a remark that all the above happen either on PC-monitor or on TVout screen.
Thanks again,

I've only seen the picture flicker when the OSD is visible on the PC-monitor of a slow machine. A couple of people have reported this on Via EPIA machine. In this case, there is just not enough CPU to draw the OSD and display video.

Yes I removed the buttons, as they interferred with other things. The "left" or "right" keys use to navigate between these buttons, but that meant these keys weren't available to act as a volume control. I will be adding some replacements OSD items back in at some stage.

Talking about Epia PCs I recently installed an XCard in an Epia 5000 board. I get very bad hum on the audio and hum bars on the video. Actually this also happens on the Epia native TV and audio out. Sounds like an earth loop. I notice that the Cubit case is not earthed at all and the DC input appears to be isolated from the case. Perhaps it needs some sort of case earth. Anyone seen anything similar around the traps. I don't want to try earthing things and short something out.

That sounds nasty. On th VIA forums at forums.viaarena.com there has been similar discussion in the past about earthing problems. Probably worth a visit if you havn't been there already.
