Hi, I'm new to all this TV on ya pc t hingy. In fact I haven't even bought a card yet. I was wondering, is it possible to plug a regular freeview box into the card in order to get freeview, or do I have to invest in a rubbish freeview card that doesn't have Mpeg2 decoding (or something like that). I say this because the freeview cars I have seen happen to be cheaper than the hardware pvr-250's which aren't digital receivers.

You can either use a DVB-T card (like Hauppauge Nova-T), or a freeview box connected to a PVR250 (with and IR Blaster for changing channels).
