I have been searching threw the forums for how to get a MSI PC @nywhere pro card to work. I ran across a forum post stating that someone had created a plug-in. I tryed to go to the link but it goes to an old forum post on the old forums. If someone could help me out on getting this working that would be great.

That thread can now be found here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753

To be honest though, if seriously want to use this software, you may need to look at buying a supported card like the Hauppauge PVR150 or ATI 550 Pro.

I took your advise and got a Hauppauge PVR150MSE. But now I have a problem with the LiveTV. It seems to be choppy. The frame rate seems to be going slow but the sound is fine. I installed the Hauppauge Decoder from http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...pegdecoder but it still does it. Any ideas why or is it just a bad decoder.

GB-PVR doesnt do the playback itself, instead it delegates this to thirdparty components installed on your machine. Unfortunately, everyone's machine is different, and I've seen a million different combinations of software installed. You'll just have to work through it and find the source of your specific problem.

Some typcial things that could be causing problems include:

1) Bad or unsuitable MPEG2 decoder. Try other decoders.

2) underpowered CPU or memory (or possibly slow hard disk). I recommend 512MB of RAM, 1Ghz PIII or faster CPU.

3) buggy version or directshow quartz.dll. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=5600

4) you have post processing filters like ffdshow or similiar installed which require more CPU than you machine has to offer.

5) If you problem is just in live tv, try enabling/disabling the 'encoder passthrough' deinterlacing setting

1) What would some good decoders be and were would I get them from

2) The spec I got are a 2.22ghz Intel P4, 512MB Ram not sure on speed of HardDrive was just a spare I had. Not sure if the Power Suppley would be a prob but its 200w. But I doesn't run much but the barebones.

3) What are post proccessing filters? and how would I know if I have them on/off?

4) I have the deinterlacing setting turned to none-software, If I'm looking at the right field.

What kind of Graphics card are you using? If your using integrated graphics, that is probably the problem, that coupled with the low power supply.
