Configuring Theater Program

I'm wondering if I missed something with installing the Theater Plugin. I put the TheaterPlugin.dll in the Plugins folder and put my zip code in the batch file. I then put the batch file and the GetTheaterListings.exe file in the gbpvr directory (I even tried putting them in the plugin directory), but it doesn't do anything when I navigate to the Theator screen. It says "They're no shows to". I went to fandango.com and put in my address and movies were pulled back.

did you hit 'refresh' from the menu selection, it should run the getlistings.bat, opening a small window and grabbing the latest listings for your zipcode.

The only file going into the plugin folder is the TheaterPlugin.dll and the other two in the gbpvr folder.

Yeah, I tried hitting the refresh button when I was viewing it on my PC and when I was viewing the screen through the MVP. When I ran it on my pc, a dos window opened, but it closed pretty fast without bringing any data into GBPVR. My zip code is 27282. I also tried 27410 which is near several theaters in town. Thanks for the help, can't wait to see what results you get!

I just ran the refresh with the zip 27410, and was able to do a screen print of the dos window to see the text. Here's what it showed:

Theaters.xml still hadn't changed, and no movies came up.

just ran both those zipcodes, and they both work fine from here. so they are good

is that the filepath you have... the gbpvr\gbpvr\theater

please make sure you are running the latest theater program on wiki. If you are not sure post your date/time and size of gettheaterlistings.exe

Sorry, no there is only one "gbpvr" folder in that directory. I got a little happy with the cut and paste. I tried the latest and greatest, and it looks like it works now. Thanks for filling in the gaps. Couldn't have done it without ya!
