I think I've seen this mentioned before but not an answer. I have set 3 season records and it was set to 'this time slot, this channel'. However, 2 of the 3 constantly record every occurance on that channel and I have to check regularly to cancel them in advance.
I've deleted and reset the season records but the first 2 programs keep doing the same thing over and over. What causes this and better yet, how to I fix this?
Thanks
Paul

Now I don't show any shows in the 'Pending' screen but they do show in the Seaon Record screen. Somethings fishy about this and I can't put my finger on it.

If you think there is a problem, now is a good time to 'put a finger on it'. I'll be doing a maintenance release in the next day or two, then it'll be your typically long break between releases.

If you can point out a problem to me now, with all the relevent details, then I'll fix the problem and include it in the maintenance release.

The timeslot is pretty much defined as the start time of the original recording +/- two hours. This is so that if there is any slight adjustments to the schedule, the show will still be recorded. This scheme works well for most people, but for certain sorts of shows or channels that happen to play shows with the same name (typcially repeats) really close to the actual show, then you can end up with it pulling in shows you didnt want.

The size of this timeslot window can be adjusted in the config.xml if needed. The default is 120 minutes.

<AllowableTimeslotVariance>120</AllowableTimeslotVariance>

Well, I've narrowed it down to 1 channel that I have problems with (SciFi) and these particular programs are repeated so many times in the following week that it must cause confusion.
I have found that using the Web Admin to schedule recordings has fixed the recordings showing up in the 'pending' screen.
Thanks for the offer to work with me on this but as of now, I think I'm good.
By the way, great job on the latest release----as always.
